SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed in regards to the high number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The service point established for intervention activities a substantial influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this sassa status check reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
